Who we are
Heart of the Parks is owned and run by Margaret Newbigin. Margaret is an experienced housing professional and has run her own self-catering business in the Lake District for over 7 years. She is inspired by the varied landscapes of the British National Parks and their unique characters and currently lives in the South Downs.

What we do
We will create the ideal holiday home for you and your guests. In doing so we will work with businesses helping to sustain the British tourist industry and local, rural communities and we aim to be as kind to the environment as possible. We create homes with heart that people love to stay in.

How we do it
All our services are tailored to your requirements. We believe we are unique in offering a comprehensive service but you can pick and choose those parts that you require. We love to find the right items for your home and to make things easy for you.

We offer a no obligation first consultation by telephone or over the internet that is completely free of charge. This allows us to introduce ourselves and the services we offer. It gives us an understanding of your aims and we can take you through the next steps needed to move the project forward and the best way for you to achieve this. Following this we will send you an initial proposal. If you decide to proceed, work will be priced and quoted so you can choose and control the budget.

Our aims are that you should spend no more than you would have spent doing it yourself and that you save yourself the time and effort involved. We achieve this through cost effective sourcing of furniture and fittings, by keeping on top of sales and discounts and by effective management of the project.
